As previously reported elsewhere, the cheapy meal deal isn't working and it seems to be the garlic cheese bread which is the culprit.

I bought the tomato and mozzarella bake, pack of 8 slices of cheesy garlic bread and vanilla and chocolate cheesecake.

Paid £8.84 so o/c of £2.84, DTD of £5.68 so total spend of £3.16.
i just got back from my extra, and the meal deal worked:( with the 8 slices of garlic bread.:(
to make things worse they had sold out of all petrol, which was my main reason for going out.:(:(:(
ps would you believe it, i forgot my wallet when going to pay;)

Trivial pursuit - you bet you know it - sel at £19.99 but scanning at £34.99, so actual cost £5. Seen at one store when a lady was getting DTD at C/s desk, and seen in another store, although left as I have no need for it. Be good for a stocking filler/birthday present.

I'm desparate for cheap literacy / maths board games, counting / spelling that sort of thing for my class. I spend any amazon and argos vouchers from surveys on them but still need more. Trivial pursuit would not be suitable but if anyone spots any bargains please post.

I know I shouldn't ask and will delete this post if needed but if anyone has any spare letter tiles from my first scrabble I would gladly pay and cover postage. I have the game but lent it to another class and am now missing several letters.

https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/51044005#Comment_51044005 a newbie so unsure if it will work.

i had a look but store had signs of being lurkered as plenty of all mains/sides/deserts etc...but no garlic & cheese bread :)
Comfort Pure 750ml £1 at T from tomorrow (until 6/3)
    MOC for 75p

Also, Persil non-bio offers have been continued

    28W liquid H/P at £3.20
    20W capsules H/P at £3
    MOC for £1

    now till 4/3.

hmmmm...I've just got back and theyre changing all the SELs and moving stuff all over the place (I think they're panicking cos half the store prices seem to change tomorrow ;) )...and the Persil is showing a new SEL of £6.40....not that I need anymore until at least 2013 :)

Quick question folks: Asking for another copy of the receipt isn't a problem at manned tills? they don't take you to CS do they?

I asked for one when I bought the food processor a couple of weeks ago and the SA said she couldnt do it at a till but if I'd paid at customer services she could do it there...or alternatively just go to CS and ask for a duplicate....needless to say I didnt...but I did ask sweetly for DTD instead :rotfl:
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!
  • Happy Chappy, just been on 'the site that shall not be named' and your jokes this evening have cheered me right up :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: that and the half bottle of wine I've just necked :beer:

I've got two normal scrabble boards and only need one, would that be of any use to you? :)

    Caught up now...

Been to the big Extra T's at L££ Mill as my son's phone is playing up (camera not working). Drove 20 miles there to discover that my DS had removed the memory card so there was no way they could check it :o

Thought I might have bagged some good whoopsies, but apart from some cheap bakery stuff there was nothing.

No BBQ stuff, no Temptations.....Just 2 lonely Toy Story party bags!

So a waste of time and petrol for me tonight. :(

I'm like you FK....no really good whoopsies since Christmas

I thought these were all 'fixed'? I'll have to keep my eyes open if not.

    Thanks Purdita :D

Me thinks you certainly will:rotfl::rotfl:Now that is definately a glitch worth having if it works;)In fact I'll be out the office door like a bat out of hell if someone confirms it in the morning, I use these all the time (Only ever get them on vouchers or if T's are paying me to take something away though!!) I'm sure these had £4.50 SEL's on tonight though because I looked at them and thought that was cheaper than normal, it's exciting a possible glitch:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
