See post 1957 from MT. Ambi Pur is going from £9 to £1.50 tomorrow in Mr T's. Some flavours are £9.20 in Mr A. Also a MOC for £2 on Before I Shop.
So if you buy it in Mr T, then 5op off shopping, but if you buy it in Mr A, then a big APG to be had.
Having said that, I don't really understand the Asda APG. Can anyone explain? Something about 8 items that must compare or something? Does that mean not any 8 items that I buy, but I have to check on My Supermarket that they do compare to be able to claim it?
surely that's a mistake? £9 to £1.50!:eek::eek:
tomorrow is looking more promising now. I'm excited:o0 -
Tried a DTD on the Valentines Meal Deal, Mixed Veg in the Valentines fridge at the front of the store.. Overcharged etc, CS called manager who refused DTD citing it was a 'Misplacement and not a overcharge'. I'm sure they make this up as they go along.. Told her to give me a full refund instead. Annoying those Trouts.0

Ooohh going to have a peek, have'nt done Iceland but I've been to the North Pole:)
Anyway evening everyone, just back from whoopsying and it truly was hysterical. I've never seen so many men trying frantically get a decent bunch of flowers in T's and going into total panic when their was nothing but crud left!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:One man was discussing with his mate if it would be ok to give his wife/GF a potted plant because that was all they had left, it looked like a cactus in a china pot!:eek: I did get one nice bunch for £1 from £5 though and got 3 pots of tulips down from £3 each to 60p:TAnd it must have been bread night because I got 5 loaves for 16p each, all nice and fresh, and 3 fresh meat racks of lamb down from £5 to £1 each. So it was worth going for but nothing spectacular. Also picked up 2 more packs of the xmas wrapping sets that are down from £5 to 50p, cos I know I'll kick myself next Xmas if I run out;) I scanned stacks of stuff and I mean stacks but didnt find a sausage, but hey ho their's always tomorrow.
Off to watch gypsy wedding, I love that programme so see you all tomorrow;)
North Pole? Any pics?

Well it's on the tesco web site so will check if I can get out tomorrow. Edited my post though to say MOC is for tesco only so cant use in asda, but for 50p off your Mr T shopping :-)0 -
As previously reported elsewhere, the cheapy meal deal isn't working and it seems to be the garlic cheese bread which is the culprit.
I bought the tomato and mozzarella bake, pack of 8 slices of cheesy garlic bread and vanilla and chocolate cheesecake.
Paid £8.84 so o/c of £2.84, DTD of £5.68 so total spend of £3.16.If you're not scared, you're not paying attention0 -

Everyone stop apologising about ranting, we are simply sharing our views and showing support for one another.
Ive told you guy things i would not be able to tell my mum and it helps to share the load.
We cope because we have to. Thats what mums do. (book title?) and dads of course:D
Oh, and if you want to know the ins and out, youll have to wait for my book:rotfl::rotfl:

still catching up so not sure if anyones already suggested this...but you were asking about emailing over a large piece of your book and would it work.....is there a way you could create a blog..fully passworded so no-one but you could access it...then email the link and password to the people you want to read it (publisher/proof reader etc)? Alternatively, is there a Microsoft word type website that will allow you to do a similar thing....imagine how you can create a photobucket account...and fill it to the brim...and then password it so you can control (in a fashion) who views the pics?
I'm not techie minded at all but thought the above might work, and save sending a huge file (which might take a while to send, and a while for the recipient to open!) :rotfl:
Either way...well done you for finding the courage to put it to paper...hope its cathartic for you and helps...and obviously hoping if its published you can gain financially, turning the negative into an even bigger positive!! :rotfl:hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -
Did one of the lovely Sneckie lurkers get a nice DTD on the valentines meal deal??
Noticed that fridge was looking rather empty and all the signage for it was absent!...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.
