I can't believe it  I have actually caught up with you all :j :j It took a lot of doing but I just kept plodding on, ignoring the SSM coupons on the way   Glad lots of you did so well on them and I may have a go if I have time tomorrow

Am way behind! But am pleased that your mum had a bit better day.

Sounds silly, (you are allowed to laugh) but I used to put the radio/cd player on whilst visiting. For one, it was company when mum dozed but more imortantly, there was usually a flicker of memory on her face when her favourite songs were playing. Ditto, when the football was on the radio (for her sins, she was an avid Spurs suppporter:eek: Hopefully they'll get their comeuppance today). I'd rubbish them (as usual) and then take her part in the conversation as well - if you know what I mean! Anyone hearing me would think that I was mad! But sometimes I'd get a small grin and then it was good to know that she was getting some enjoyment out of it.

    Hope Mr3Dogs better today.

As for being in two places at once - you seem to be be doing fantastically well doing it already.:T

Many thanks MKS - we have the TV on in her room during the day. when I am there, I always sing, and sometimes dance :o, along to the advert jingles, theme tunes and, twice a day, all the songs on Heartbeat and Mam always has a giggle about that :D :j

Mam was ok again today with no more bleeding :j She is tired and weak but chatting away and eating happily :D

Mr 3Dogs wasn't too good this morning but better this afternoon. I told him to ring NHS HelpLine but he wouldn't  Actually, the main problem seems to be wind  ............ trapped wind after the op and as soon as he can release the wind ;);) the pain eases :DHe is going to get the bus into town tomorrow to pick up his normal meds I ordered online for him, so he is going to ask to see a nurse while he is there :D

I am really missing posting in actual time with you all :( but enjoy reading all your posts to find out what you are all up to and what sillies Mr T has done that day :rotfl: :rotfl: It is my way to 'unwind' after spending time down with Mam :A

would add that while £3.51 appears cheap for the product,
for 1p more you could of got 20 cans of t own brand value lager...

I shudder at the thought of drinking that stuff!

Ok so I'm not exactly a connoisseur when it comes to cider so feel free to slap me with a cold wet trout and tell me I'm sinning by mentioning Stella Artois but a pint of their Cidre is only £1 a bottle until tomorrow. That's the only cider I've ever tried (well since I was underage anyway!) and I only did so because of the price but stick a glass in the fridge for a while then pour a cold one and I don't think it's too bad. I'm not keen on alcohol that tastes like alcohol so I was quite surprised when I tried this and liked it.

Oh and I know it's meant to be served with ice but see previous posts re freezer space i.e. there is none, not even for a few ice cubes!
