OK something has gone wrong with the car and I just know it's gonna be expensive to fix.

It was OK Friday evening ... didn't go out yesterday ... and today the consol isn't lighting up or working ... so I reckon I'm illegal. :(
    • The headlights and indicators are working but there's no tick, tick noise
    • Speedo/rev meter/fuel and oil indicators not ligting up or working
    • Can't see clock or mileage
BUT there are 4 icons that do light up:
    • driver air bag indicator
    • handbrake
    • ABS
    • something else which I haven't got a clue for
Don't suppose anyone has any clues as to what's happened? Could I have dislodged a wire/cable?

If it's not one thing it's another!! :(

Smart1e you are hereby charged with extreme DTDing in a shameful and reckless manner..how do you plead?

    Smart1e pleads :T:T:T

I have had the most ridiculous day around various Mr T's... I have come home with nearly £150 worth of "stuff" and have about £30 more in my purse than I went out with;)

I did encounter Sir Jobsworth of Jobsworth-dom as well, I thought a geeky young lad on CS, yippee, a bit of chat and possible shameless flirting if necessary would do the trick but no.After J of J faffed for about 10 minutes the conversation went a bit like this..

J of J-here is your JTD madam
Me - but your sign says Dtd not Jtd
J of J-no madam, dtd is on one item not eleven:D - proceeds to call a manager who confirms I am correct
J of J still can't provide Dtd and informs me again that Dtd is only on one item
Me - but you haven't even given me Dtd on any of them!
J of J - much faffing, then calls manager again.Manager confirms I am right yet again
J of J calls over for "help"
Nice CS lady - make sure you do it right J of J so the lady gets what she's entitled to:T
J of J- nearly crying now, pulling hair out, crumpled in heap on the floor...my work is done.

In the end - victory to Smart1e , Jobsworth nil points.

    :T:T:T:T:T

Jobsworth was also wearing a badge to say he has worked for Mr T since 2002...:eek::eek:

have you been tearing up and down that A470 ??!!

    w/d on the haul .

Try and google the fault, including the make and model of your car.
There are many dedicated forums out there, full of mechanics who are happy to help diagnose a problem.

  • Massive thank you to everyone on here. I always have a nosey around grabbits and freebies and have posted a few finds but have never looked at this thread as I thought it was for deals gone by. Yesterday bit bored so I had a little read, omg I'm so addicted to this mission control and spent nearly all day on it (husband not too impressed though!).
Managed to get 38 stickers, only 3 to go and loads of money off coupons which will come in very handy, as with a lot of us moneys quite tight at the moment. Anyway went to Tesco and used two coupons, so had free flash bathromm and fairy washing up liquid, felt bit nervous though!
Have to go to town tomorrow, so will def have to pop in again.
Once again many thanks to all on here.
