still no £20 JTD voucher!! Losing hope now :(

odd that I didn't plan on wombling today yet I have 8 receipts from tesco. Found them in a bag at work in the car park, and they're all from today between a 10 minute mark. So I think I've taken someone's wombled stash:eek::eek::eek:

Bum and bullwarks! I got the time wrong, I was getting ready for RPM at 5:30pm, came on here to double check my booking and it had disappeared! Why? I got the time wrong, it's 5pm :( I wasn't even changed yet so by the time I got there I'd have missed the warm-up and that's a no-no, balls!!

Your right I do have a head for money but I try not to let that get in the way of enjoying life :rotfl:

Part of our pact for my retiring early was that I promised to do all of the shopping etc so for me it makes sense to save money where I can to lessen the impact of a reduced income as long as I don,t spend too much time doing it. This thread has unfortunately scuppered some of those plans!

OH doesn't like going shopping with me,especially Tesco, as we end up spending too much time there for her liking. I'm slowly working on it and think(fingers crossed) I'm making some progress:)

Artha you're not alone on that, the only person that'll come shopping to T's with me is my mum, unless it's a glitch, then DH will come, because I can spend ages in there;)
Totally totally impressive. I would like to put my money on you for the diet challenge with HC, Nikkilala and, I think, Purdita? Any news on how everyone else is doing? - all been a bit quiet on that front ....

It was me.....I've kept very quiet on that front as I started off really well.......and then it all went horribly wrong :o

I've been a rubbish diet partner to Westie but she's doing brilliantly without me :T:T
I need a good kick up the backside to get me motivated!
Don't know how the "opposition" are doing....but it's very quiet there too ;)

Purdy you're not alone. I'm getting great weeks, then totally pants weeks. I'm just over 3 months no smoking though so I seriously don't think that's helped.:(And I seem to be losing one week and putting it on the next, but it does mean that l have'nt put on any weight since I've given up now;)

  • I perhaps got a little carried away earlier, just realised my £5 off voucher is valid from tomorrow :o :rotfl:

Still happy with £10 off £30 and £10 worth of SSM vouchers as well!

Has anyone looked into the Pampers nappy yet? Ive seen some in one store at the 2 for £10 and in another still at the £3.24, so will be checking that out later as well and will report back with my findings :D

Afternoon everyone, just about to go back and catch up but no T's today for me:(Totally disastrous morning. I had the whole day planned, up nice and early, T's with vouchers roast dinner and people around tonight. Went to get in the bath early this morning and was having a little treat with my Molton Brown Bath Oil and you guessed, Slipped in the bath!!! Have got a disgusting black & blue knee with an egg on the side of it. It's my right knee where I had an op last year and it's dodgy anyway. Taught me a lesson, don't lock the bathroom door because DS heard me shout and took me ages to open the door:oGood job he was in because DH was upstairs in the shower and didnt hear a thing. Feel like an old lady hobbling about and no chance of driving the car today:( It could have been worse but have spent the day feeling very sorry for myself and dinner is now roast pork(whoopsied of course;)) with oven chips and beans courtesy of DH & DS:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Just off to catch up, hope everyones ok:)

Ouch that sounds painful - hope you got some ice on it and it is easing now

I've been on my diet 3 wks now, I get 12wks free at Slimming World and free exercise class every week too on a scheme called Lose Weight Feel Great. Not sure if it's a national thing but if your BMI is over 25 you qualify. This is great for me cause with a household income of £124pw maternity pay we are struggling!

    So far I've lost: Wk one 4 1/2lb, Wk two 2lb, Wk three 4 1/2lb :j :j

How's everyone else doing? And what a beautiful winter day it is! Going to take the baby for a walk I think.....and I don't mean round T's!!

    Well done you:T:T:T:T:T:T
