  • Good advice. It's amazing how many transactions we do that we forget about too!

I phoned HO recently....first time ever....as I got trouted by a particularly rude member of staff. I'd paid by cash but gave my details to HO and remembered I have a tesco credit card so they could look at all my transactions with my card

This reminded me of a funny story about me thinking I was being watched by "Big Brother" or more specifically Mr T's. I had given birth to my DS and hubby and I popped to T (without DS) 4 days later for just a few thing (I'll never do that again, was shattered!). I was struggling round so when we got to the checkout, I told DH i was going to sit down on the chairs the other side. As DH was paying, the SA asked hubby when baby was due. DH thought that the SA could see a list of all the previous baby items we had bought recently and therefore knew everything about our shops. DH's face was a picture. He just gulped and muttered something then came rushing over to tell me how they monitor everything you do and buy and it's all on screen to see. How i laughed at his naivete... Nothing to do with the fact that I was waddling and looked like I was about to give birth.

But now as more and more time passes, I'm totallly aware that we are watched when we least suspect it (conspiracy theorist, moi?!) Stay under the radar guys if you can.

With a stack of new vouches I am guessing ;)

I'm trying to decide if I should try the Southern Comfort (700ml). It could give a £5.24 jtd. Just a bit worried that, with so much booze in the house, I'm not going to be in a fit state to drive the kids to school for at least the next year :rotfl:
