hey.. i have a question...
dont know if any of you will know what i am on about or if i'l get told to just shut up..
i'm on the council waiting list to move into a council property
my bidding priority is band B
i have been on the list since january 24th 2011
i ruing up today to find out where i came on the 3 properties i bid on
i came...
12th on one
10th on one
6th on one
the fortnight before i came 14th on one and 32nd on a house
before that i came 26th, 28th and 30th
before that i came 32nd
does it look like i am loikely to be housed this year if i am coming within the top ten now?
my tenancy on this flat runs out 14th march 2012 and the estate agents wont let you update it unless you go back to giving two months notice when you want to move out
i tried gogling this (not the whole thing i wrote here) but cant find any answers
thanks
thanks
Doesn't look likely before March, priority cases are added all the time. Councils disappoint. Can you not go private? Fees & bond may be an issue, but with Child Tax Credits et all saving £xx each month isn't impossible.0 -
I am very disgruntled as I have not been added to the list and was one of the first to reply.......ok it was written backwards so only lefties could read it easily (its one of the things they are good at) but I think it must be a righty doing the list as he couldn't read it........
pretty please as Im a leftie and true to leftie genetics both my boys are but my girls are in the other gang like their dad.
my apologies wendyak ...let me assure you the left handed female who started the list will be made aware of your disgruntlementwhen I shout up the stairs to her in a second or 2 ...
I was young once , now I get older all the time .0 -
so how many of us are currently on the other site posting random stuff to get coupons :rotfl:
I think we are all there.....someone has just said hello to me and i don't have a clue who it is :rotfl:My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
no private places will take me because i dont have somebody to garuntee (sp) the rent
and they all want like £1500 before they even let you over the door
places are expensive where i am i live in a one bedroom flat but its more of a studio with seperate bedroom i/e kitchen is in front room etc and this is £525 a month as it is
plus i need to be in a council place so i can get back to work
use to be a HCA but had to quit when babies useless father left me and i spoke to citizens advice and JS and it just isnt financially sensible for me to return to work until i am in one and can actually afford the rent etcYou can't make someone love you. All you can do is
stalk them & hope they panic & give in

I seen one of your posts, recognised your picture! Wasn't me who said hello, although I should have!
Seen a couple of people I recognise and a couple who have MSE in their names ...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

oh... also... your lucky to find 1 person every couple of months down here that will even consider takins DSS and if they do they almost always want the garuntee person. so got no chance.
im pretty much stuck here until council house me
just annoys me so much i actually know people that are proper druggies or alcys and they have just gone in housing told them they are not capible of working and been housed
i on the other hand have never not worked before now and get as little help as they can possibly give meYou can't make someone love you. All you can do is

saw the malibu in express today and thought of you
going to pastures new in morning
hopeful of fresh bounty
With a stack of new vouches I am guessing
I'm trying to decide if I should try the Southern Comfort (700ml). It could give a £5.24 jtd. Just a bit worried that, with so much booze in the house, I'm not going to be in a fit state to drive the kids to school for at least the next year :rotfl:Avatar courtesey of HC :beer:0 -

Ever thought about moving to a different area? My cousin did it. She was living in Wokingham which is damn expensive.. She looked around and moved to Derbyshire with the kids (2). She's working 16hours now, got herself a new partner and is happier in her three bedroom than she was in her studio down south0 -
