i have neuropathy (periphral) i had it many years now. but last summer i nearly had my middle toe cut off as i had trod on a piece of glass, and didnt know it was there. it got infected, turned ulcerated, then turned into osteomilitus (sp) which affected the bone. this was in may and i still have to visit the podiatrist every 10 days now.
i also have diabetics, but they dont think the diabetic caused my neuropthy though

Ooooo you poor thing! I was surprised when you said you had neuropathy as looking on the thingie you're too young to have complications I would have thought. It's true though that it can affect anyone, you're just more susceptible as a diabetic.

I only had my yearly check in November and there was no sensation loss. I'm kind of wondering if my uggs are to blame, on the right (the affected leg) I sometimes get a mark left where they've been too tight, and the heat patch stops where the uggs do. I have to wonder if it's pinched a nerve or something, so I'm wearing them turned down until I figure it out! :o
