Advice needed please, on postal address

I filed a item not as described against a seller, escalated the claim, received an email from paypal this morning asking me to return the item to seller, with their address. Five minutes later i received an email from the seller asking me to send the item back to her new address. which is completely different to the one from paypal. I'm not sure what to do next, as surely i will only get my refund if it's returned tracked to the address paypal asked me to send it to. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Phone paypal and ask them and then 'confirm' what they say in a note added to the dispute console.

    Don't forget tracking.

  • Do what PayPal say not what the seller says, you won't get a refund if you send it to an address that PayPal don't ell you to. and for your tracked delivery, good companies are https://www.parcelmonkey.co.uk, https://www.hermes-europe.co.uk and https://www.collectplus.co.uk
  • get in touch with ebay and ask their advice
  • Just spole to Paypal, and they confirmed my initial thoughts - sent it tracked to the address paypal supplied me with, if the seller has moved house and not informed paypal then thats her problem (paypal advisors words not mine).

Some sellers seem to get these buyers in December, I always get them around this time of year. You've done the right thing so you can sit back, Remember to block the individual and Id ignore any further emails from them
