Excel Sheet for sellers!

Hi there

In a few hours I'll prob be designing an Excel sheet which will have entries for:

Selling price, Delivery, Percentage taken by ebay (or amazon), how much i'll receive.

One for ebay, one for amazon.

This will mean I can just enter the price for the product and see what I'm going to get.

But before I do that I thought I'd post here to see if anyone else has such a tool?!?!?!

If not I'll do mine and link it on here for ya'll

    I use https://www.ezaytools.co.uk really helpful
  • http://www.ebaycalculator.co.uk/

you can save all of your calculations, handy if you sell a lot
  • Just added both websites to my favourites, the calculations are so simple!

Could really do with an excel spreadsheet for both Amazon and Ebay, I tried creating one but can't find the correct formula..
  • Yep that would be really handy, please send me one if you get two minutes. I use one at the moment but it is only very simple.

    Hi

I put everything manually into my own spreadsheet (very crude, but effective). I don't like relying on anything too automated. I have a column for how much the item sells for (all my items are old stuff that I haven't had to buy), then all the following columns are expenses - listing fees, seller fees, paypal fees and postage costs. I have set up a simple excel formula to deduct the expenses from the amount the item sold for. Bingo - profit for each item.

I then add all these up on a separate sheet to give a total monthly profit, which gets moved over into a different bank account each month. I keep these monthly sheets to give me an idea of how much I make each year.

I think its best to play around and put together your own which works for you - some people may want more detail than others. If you are new to excel, then there are many short courses at colleges etc to teach the basics.
