Don't really want to march him round to his Mum's to get her to sign stuff or grant him Power of Attorney haha!
It could be genuine of course it could but its your money and you will be the one out of pocket if you are being taken for a ride.
Whilst his mum could have a stroke it doesn't mean the car wasn't nicked from a robbery of an old lady and the stroke comments are to make you not question as to why she isn't atleast present during the sale. 6 of one half a dozen of the other.
Its always a gamble.Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0 -
HPI check it.
I was smiling at this discussion, as I sold my Dads BMW M3 Convertible for him when they moved to France, Dad was happy to get PX price as cash and the poor guy who bought it was convinced I was dodgy... didnt matter what I said and did to calm him.0 -

The old blue ones are being replaced as a huge batch of old blue ones were stolen and DVLA want to prevent fraud if possible. How do I know? I have a new red one for my X reg Berlingo now. Came in post in Dec 2011. Mind you I am waiting for OH's replacement.
Frances
We got 3 cars and so far only one V5 has been replaced. DVLA seem to be dragging their heels a bit but I think they're starting with the newest cars first and working their way backwards.0
