how to find out old account number

Hi, I am just looking into seeing if I have been charged PPI on my old loans, existing loans and credit cards. I have read up on the first steps to take, but I have come to a stumbling block already. I have started to fill out the template but it asks for me to put my account number at the top. Could anyone tell me how to find this out on already paid up finance/loans.
thank you.

  • i was in the same position as you , and someone on this forum told me to ring up the credit card company/banks and ask them. this is what i did and not only did they give me my loan numbers but they got the ball rolling by sending out the questionaires. i just tried to give them as much information as possible.:)
