    My TCB has tracked already!:T:T

Mine too. My new garden has lots of gaps to fill so love deals like this. Thanks.
  • No longer available. I searched for tree peony and the only 1 which came up was priced at £29.99. I entered the order code and the deal shown was climbing surfinia 10 plugs for the P&P price
  • Just got my despatch email, but the order said it would be end of March? This is a month early, not that I'm complaining.
    Thanks again claribel
I love this site and all chums, but its making a dent in my bank account!!!

Have lots of things I want, but dont necessarily need... Must DO BETTER!!! :A

I'm glad about the despatch email, because someone posted this deal on hduk and lots were saying they never got them on a similar deal last year :T

All plant companies usually put "by end of month x" so really they can come anytime between order and end of month x.

Also had a dispatch email, very impressed as used to T&M who don't send those or offer order tracking.

Going to grow on mine for at least 4 weeks before I think of planting outside.
  • Just taken delivery of mine, opened the bag straight away as it said to do so, although I'm at work til 5.30 and then at the gym so it will have to stay in the opened bag for now. It is as described, its about 25 cm tall measuring from where soil level would be, several branches, most with buds on.

Is it too early to be planting out, I've never had a peony before and wondering if I should keep it indoors somewhere or in a pot for now?

I'm no peony expert, but mine has gone into a pot to be grown on for a few weeks at least indoors. Don't know much about their care as I said but personally wouldn't plant anything out quite yet lol.

Having had these plants in the past (which all died) as small specimens I was thrilled to get such a big, mature one, hadn't realised it was going to be so well developed :D
  • Thanks OP! Took delivery of two of these today! :T

Both were type 'Yu Ban Bai' so should go perfectly in my garden. My MIL is visiting this weekend too, so it's just in time to give her early Mothers Day Present!

My first purchase purely from a recommendation on this site so thanks again! :D
  • I got mine today and have planted it in garden, in the enclosed leaflet it did say plant as soon as possible so hope it doesn't die. I got one called Paeonia Yu Ban Bai which I have just looked up on line and its a white single one, I already have a pink one which I have had for a couple of years, this one is bigger than the one I already have. Mine in garden is shooting at the moment so hoping it will be fine.
