Evening all, just a quick post to send hugs and positive vibes to wuvvies. You were in the right and should not have been treated like that.

  • bit of a late post again today,
quick update , i ended up in a and e last night with agonising abdominal pain that has still gone undiagnosed from during my pregnancy with ds ( 13 months) and ended up with a huge amount of morphine to get rid of it. They suggested i stay in but its just not possible with a 13 month old and 4 week old dd. So i discharged myself and went to the drs first thing to get referred for an ultrasound to investigate it further. I also tried to speak to the dr about the pnd and feeling so down but i didnt get my usual doc as it was an emergency appointment and he didnt want to prescribe me them as " anyone with two babies so young is goint to be depressed"?!
So i walked away and broke down in tears in the car on the way home, really dont know what to do anymore to be honest.
wuvvies what an awful thing to happen at work, so hugs being sent your way

I suppose one of the OS bits about Beamish is the coal fired Fish & Chip shop (though the prices are far from OS) The only other coal fired one I know of is near Lincoln.
Beware if you do go and want to eat here the queues are horrendous.

rebecca: You poor love. All of us who have been in your position know exactly what you are going through. My two were 2 years apart and I remember going to my doctor who was fine if you had a broken leg or a rash to show him, but didn't do emotional difficulties. He simply said briskly, "Tired? I don't know what you've got to feel tired about." Like you I walked home in tears. But we all survive, and you will too. The pain should be looked into though, you can't go on like that. Apart from anything else it must be frightening, so keep on badgering the doctors and on no account try to be brave. I don't know what your circumstances are but you desperately need some support - if you can, get any help that's available, this is no time to be independent.
    Lots of squashy hugs, pet.

Rebecca, speak to your Midwife or Health Visitor as soon as possible - they will help you and support you. I apologise in advance for saying this, but some people (locum doc for example) don't really understand how it feels, and that you know the difference between "baby blues" and something else. Have been there after DS2 and had the anti-d's AND also had the short spell of breast feeding (for both boys), but I had fab support from my HV. Why not have a look on here if you get a chance?
