Considering a cruise - any advice?

P&O, Princess, Cunard are all part of Carnival group. They changed their policy on agent discounts this year- only 5% discount to agents - and we found all six agents we tried were quoting the same price as the cruise company website.
One agent even said book with the one you are most comfortable with as all prices will be the same. What swung it for us was Thomas Cook had an On board credit offer exclusive to them.0 -

I wouldn't go by the prices on the P&O web site you are better off going through a specialist cruise company. They will find you the best deals with the best discounts and advise you the best company to sail with. We use Bolsover Cruise Club and have been very happy with them. There are others too.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4

Ditto on Thomson Celebration in December. AI chucked in too. Great time. Price you see is the price you pay, and absolutely no pressure to join any excursions.0 -
Once you start cruising you will get the bug I'm sure ! My DH suggested we try one 9 years ago.....I have just booked my next one (10th) for this summer. There are lots of forums you can join to get info eg cruise.co.uk or cruisecritic.co.uk with a wealth of information. Go for it.....its brilliant !
Or else you will hate it and vow never to do it it again ...guess which category I fall intoVuja De - the feeling you'll be here later0
