Just transfered a friend of mine some money over. We're both with Halifax, but does this class as a FP? I ask because normally when i transfer money using FP, i get a FP loading screen for a few seconds before it says its successful. With Halifax to Halifax transfers it doesnt appear, just says successful straight away

It goes as an internal transfer. Shows as TFR on your online?
Would be FPO ........ for a faster payment. If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
Transfers to/from other Halifax accounts, whether in your name or not, and to/from LTSB accounts are tagged TFR on your statement.
Normal FPs, ie to/from 'outside' organisations, are tagged either FPI or FPO.
To answer your question, the payment will go "straight away". However, I'm not sure whether TFRs count towards your daily FPO limit (of £25K...maybe more now?), or whether they're in addition to it?0 -
Thanks. Yea it appears as TFR and my next question was going to be if they count towards your limit0

* Your daily account limit includes:
Bill payments
Payments to individuals
New standing orders
The value of any increase in a standing order.David
