Can you add the facility to Block certain forums?

When i use the forum, i tend to hit the new posts button, and this brings up everything that is current on the forum. I personally dont want to know what the daily mail is talking about, and the threads started by the bored, to cause a row in DT are something i could happily live without, and the Bankrupt board, well to me its a collection of people, asking questions about the best way to pad the information they give the Offical Reciever so that they do not have to pay any of their debts at all. and to be honest, I find it hateful.

If it was possible to block these and other forums coming up when i hit the new posts button, this would improve my experience on the MSE web forum.

Why not just visit the individual forums that you find interesting? That way you won't find your prejudices challenged. You'll find that threads with new posts on them will be in bold so no need to bother with the New Posts button.

that doesn't work for me im afraid, theres a LOT of individual boards on here.

Yes you're right. I've just had a quick look at your posting history and you do visit quite a lot of forums.

The only other thing I can suggest is that you add people to your ignore list although that could end up being quite extensive.
