Vent - insurance renewal

It the time for my insurance renewal. As always i do a quick price comparison to check my renewal is a good price. There wasn't much in it. I always expect a couple of phone calls after and today was the first. I am happy to give them the time to see if they can do me a better price, it costs me nothing.
Was this quote competitive to your renewal they ask?
i said 'Can you tell me the price you quoted please?'
response - I don't have that info in front of me but we were the cheapest on the comparison site.
Really you call me not knowing what the price is you quoted, i think the person that they put me through to would be the one to tell me the price. Think i can judge their customer service on that one!
