^^ This. Jealousy is horrible; Nasty Owners may be struggling as well of course while not realising how tight a spot Piq was in.
Yard Owner may find himself receiving some interesting offers in the near future..
Piq, keep your eyes and ears open until it all settles down - personally I'd not block any 'phone-numbers; would rather know who to watch out for..0 -
What nasty people and now you know what they're really like0

Piq, believe me when I say this, if you were up north I too would commission you to landscape my garden - it is massive and has such potential and I am literally drooling at your ideas for YO garden - can't wait for the pics.
Mark my words, lady..............this is going to be the start of something0 -
Fab news re the garden. So so lovely..and who cares what stupid petty people think at the yard. But agree maybe see whether it continues... and if it does take action.
Maybe you could be a roving gardener? When I get DF I will commission you to come over and make me a fab herbaceous border and a cottage garden too....and in the meantime you can tame the allotment and care for the trees! Will pay a good rate I promise! :-)
Hugs and so pleased you are happy...that's the main thing xMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

I'm not going to do a massive post this evening, it'll be a miserable affair if I do. The yard was horrible, a lot of snide comments and people walking away from me. The yard manager suggested that I pay something towards the costs to make life bearable. She says she's had them all complaining at her.
I did the garden and cried over it. Very different to the other day! Spent very little time with the Captain as I was so tearful and didn't want them to see what they had reduced me to. Luckily the sun was out so I stuck my sunglasses on to cover the ravages  I feel sick about going back on Thursday. Can't say I'm looking forward to work tomorrow either and I have to sign on beforehand - good couple of days on their way :rotfl:I just keep crying, this is no good at all.
I had a letter from my internet providers with the headline 'Exciting news' The exciting news being that they are putting the charge up £10 a month....Lucky me! I called and asked for an explanation, I don't have broadband out here. I get a lousy 2mb dial up. They are looking into it and a specialist will be calling me in a couple of days. What's the betting I have to call them?
I painted a pot today, but it's not quite right, think I need primer first. I'll sort that out at some point but I did make some plant signs from bits of broken pots. Below is the seed one. I'm forever scattering seeds and forgetting that I sowed them there and then weeding them....forgot about the dragonfly, may add it later.[/IM

Dear Piq...that really sucks, in a massive way. It will blow over, when they have something else to busy their busybody heads with, but for now, that's awful, and I'm quite disgusted. It's not even your decision. If they are annoyed with anyone, it should be the yard owner, not you. I'm not sure I'd struggle to find money that you don't need to find, just to keep the peace. Maybe stick it out for, say, 2 weeks, or a month, and see if things return to normal?I'm a Money and Debt Adviser for a homelessness and housing charity in Scotland. That's what I'll try to do. I'll try and speak to the yard owner at the weekend, see what he says. The yard manager implied that he had changed his mind due to the outcry. I don't think this is necessarily true as nearly everyone is terrified of him. They prefer to go for the more vulnerable amongst us.
I just want to walk away from everything today. I want to go to sleep but I know my mind is going to be constantly replaying everything. I need to sleep so that I am not all tearful and over sensitive at work tomorrow. It would be awful to cry at the job centre :eek:Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
