But read his description .. he's clearly only wanting to appeal to a niche market .....

"GREAT FUN FOR THE HOLE FAMILY"

Wonder if Mr and Mrs Hole will want it???????????

Sorry, couldn't resist .... schools today ... etc etc   :rotfl:

I'm waiting for a response about his older username, but some people can be so desperate for a car they'll try nearly anything, illiteracy is dissappointing however if he wants the car today, he won't get the money by auto transfer if they are not avaliable back online until tomorrow perchance, by which he'll most likely accept anything (if we asked)

Cerenia, by all means give the man the benefit of the doubt, however the consensus here seems to be that this is not genuine. It is nothing to do with being desperate for a car, or having a poor grasp of the English language, it appears on the face to be a scam.

If he has several high end goods to dispose of today then why isn't he down at cash convertors where e can get paid instantly, or selling through his local small ads again where people can see the goods and pay instantly in cash. He is desperate yet he can find time to list items and wait for auctions to end and then expects his buyers to pay up front using a completely unsafe payment method. Those buyers then have to accept that he is going to spend the money as soon as he gets it and before he can even post items out...this smells and I wouldn't even waste an email contacting the guy.

Ok, I thought I would post as I have dealt with new ebayers before, and we're all new at some point, and unfortunatly some people do lack brain cells,i just thought it might be worth posting just incase it was somebody lacking active cells who just needs to learn rather than a scam, sorry :(

    THEN IT WILL BE INSTANTANIUSE
But I would rather throw money out of the window in the general direction of dixons in the hope of a Wi being delivered.

  • Well heres my calculation :D

Zero Feedback + High Value Items + Dodgy Story + Bad Spelling = Wouldnt touch with a Barge Pole! :rotfl:

However my own bet would be that its genuine  Mainly because the photos are all personal and realistic.

He's probably genuine but there's no way I'd use a bank transfer to pay a newbie like that.
Possibly genuine at best in my opinion.

I would not touch this with Snoozy's :D

borehamcomputers only has a feedback of 652, not the 2000+ claimed. And why say that you used to be that seller, and then in the next sentence say "BUT I SURPOSE EVERY BODY HAS TO START SOMEWHERE AT SOME POINT", it doesn't add up.

What's more, the spelling alone would put me off this. :p

borehamcomputers has a feed back rating of 652 as nightswimmer said but also the location for borehamcomputers is Essex, United Kingdom and the location for the wii or the xbox the seller is selling is: bognor, West Sussex, United Kingdom.
Also that seller account was only set up this Tuesday.

I can see why people are so apprehensive, I have been conned a couple of times on ebay and you can never be too careful.
