Mira Shower - which one???

I'm thinking of buying a Mira electric shower but when I go on the Mira website there are more than 50 to choose from!!!
I can narrow the choice down by selecting a 9.5kw one but even then there are almost 12 to choose from. Having read their associated advertisemnet details they all seem very similar.
Has anyone any recommendations? including those who have actually installed them.
Thanks

What is the rating of your existing shower? If it's less than 9.5kW, then you may have to upgrade the cabling and isolator as well.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

The new shower is part of a bathroom upgrade which currently only has a basic hot/cold water mixer so new cabling etc is planned0

I've got a Mira Sport (albeit a 9.0kw) which was easy enough for DIY instal (especially as they tend to keep the internal placements the same and it was a like for like replacement so it went on all the existing pipes and cables). I put that in myself just before our youngest was born - he will be five in a couple of weeks. Bearing in mind we are in a hard water area (Bath) that to me seems a good start - OK so its not a lifetime but its pretty good. On the other hand last Easter I went back to visit some friends that have an outdoor centre where I used to work when I was younger - they had some Mira Sport showers fitted when I worked there which are still there now (the casing shape changed a long time ago so I' pretty certain they are the originals not later replacements) - they were fitted in around 1992! Fair enough its the other extreme on water - mountain hard water but even so they've done pretty well.!Adventure before Dementia!0

I fitted a Mira Sport Max 10.8kw a couple of years ago and was a bit disappointed as it was nearly £300 and the hot flow rate was not much better that a cheap 8kw I have had in the past.
As previously mentioned you will have to check the supply cable which can be expensive to upgrade and a pain to run before making a purchase.
I would have rather had a mixer or even a power shower which offer far better flow but the old combi boiler I have was not up to it.0
