Would a insurance company request..

...all the named drivers licenses after a accident? even if they were not driving?

Thanks.

  • Not unless there was a suspicion they were driving. Why, got a banned person or someone with undeclared points on your insurance?

    They can, yes

They check all the drivers as quite often you can get a much better premium for having parents, uncles etc, on cover, so if you claim, they quite often check these are actually real people.
They also want to check the convictions are as you have told them, as they insured on that basis, whether driving or not.
  • OK, as I thought, many thanks.

Any insurer will ask all sorts of questions in the event of a claim.
