reclaiming ppi GE Money

Hi
we got a loan from GE Money 6yrs and 4months ago, it was for a car we got into financial difficulty luckily found out this loan was not HP loan we managed to keep the car but passed the debt onto a Debt management company,
Since realising on the contract we paid for PPI insurance this is something we was never aware off.
Would i be able to apply still.
I understand if we did apply and won monies this would go towards paying off the current debt which i'm not that bothered about it just helps to clear it.
We did try last year but got no response so wasnt sure i sent the form to the correct place, if anyone has dealt with GE Money what address you send to?
