Switching Dual-fuel from Powergen to nPower via Moneysupermarket
Options
Hi all,
Am fairly new to the utility switching lark.
I currently obtain Electricity & Gas via Powergen onna dual fuel deal.
The best saving for me is to switch both to the nPower dual fuel scheme.
I think the best switch deal for me is to go via Moneysupermarket which gives £30 for such a switch.
Couple questions:
Am I correct in thinking a switch from one dual-deal to another at Moneysupermarkets earns £30? Do Moneysupermarket tend to track / pay OK?
Any other caveats regarding any aspect of doing this?
Many thanks in advance
Fella

Why not look at https://www.quidco.com and see how much they offer for signing up to the new company through them? You may find they offer a higher cashback rate. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Nice idea Rex, I had a look. It appears the most I could get via Quidco is £28 so in purely cash terms Moneysupermarket is better.
On a slightly different tack, since I'm changing suppliers anyway should I take this opportunity to get a fixed-price deal on gas? I haven't really looked into that either....
cheers
