Sharm was wicked! We went last july and loved every minute of it!!
There is plenty to do there! We went on two ecursions as we were only there for a week and wanted a relaxing holiday (not one full of activities!).
We did the day trip to Ras Mohammed and that was brilliant! We booked through tour operater Thomson which afterwards we found was really over priced! You can book excatly the same trip from other operators (around the beach areas or shops you will find them lurking with their clip boards) and they are SO much cheaper and are the same trip!
The day trip consisted of a boat ride to two snorkeling points, a guide to take you snorkeling and then a meal when back on the boat with music ect. It was really worth it and we got to see loads of different beautiful fish and meet alot of people. I am sorry, but i cant remember the price for this trip, but well worth it!
Then we did the quad biking for a few hours. A few hours is well enough! They did do the day trip for this but i wouldnt advise it especailly in the heat! This was ok, but not somthing i would do again. Bit boring and dragged, and you were made to following each other in big groups. Again, we booked through Thomson and we were over priced. Also, when speaking to a few who went with the beach/shops tours, they seemed cheaper and better as smaller group size.
Sharm is lovely. Nice people but be firm with them (or they wont leave you alone!). Many bars/clubs nice resturants! Something for everyone!wins 2008: nada
