RBS Loan agreements

Hi, some advice or help needed - I've just spoken direct to my bank re: claiming of mis-sold PPI on my existing loan. I have an agreement dated October 2006, but this loan was used to pay off previous loan with same bank. RBS say they do not have copies of any loan agreements beyond 6yrs that have been settled. Are they spinning me a yarn, or is there any way I can trace original agreement?

I rang the RBS freephone PPI number (ending in 0319) and they told me how many loans I'd had and that I had paid PPI on them. Some were definitely before 2006.DEBT FREE BY 60Starting Debt 21st August 2019 = £11,024

Enclose £10 and they will give all info they have on you.
You need to have the previous loans looked at,as ppi from each one, will have been carried over to the next loan, less the rebate for the ppi they gave when each loan was settled.0
