Take the money and put them in premium bonds for the duration of the offer and hey presto! £400.
Of course, when I put 50% of my earnings set for tax and NI into them, I didn't get a penny. Still, very good discipline.

Hi,
That fellow would have to be careful to get date of input right as bonds not entered into draw until you have held them for a caledar month after the month of purchase!
If he had put money in simple invest a/c @ say 5% he would have got £380 or so net & my experience of Nat Savings is that they can be somewhat tardy in repaying.0 -
They often arrive with Abbey and MBNA and are shredded then put straight in the bin..0
