This website, which is basically British Gas online is a complete joke. Since I signed up for online billing a year or so ago, there hasn't been one quarter where I have not had to ring them for one reason or another.
The website always states that they are upgrading their billing system but they clearly haven't. The payment section is rarely updated so it shows the last bill amount or a random amount & there is no option to pay by visa (states they don't take electron but don't allow for visa debit or credit card either).
It's also always really really slow.
You'd think the amount they charge they could make a decent website!:mad:

I used to have a switch / maestro card but now I have a visa debit card, when i go to pay, the option isn't there in the drop down menu0 -
I agree, catz747, that's one of the main reasons I'm in the middle of switching both gas and electricity to Ebico. I am absolutely sick to death of BG's incorrect billing, unavailable bills and no (relevant) response to emails. And BG had the cheek to write to me and ask ME to phone THEM to discuss my account and give them meter readings (which I have done online several times...).aaaarrgh:mad:0
