I can't see what the problem is if you are gettting rid of the stuff. You have the option of ebaying it.

Exactly thats the point, I could ebay it if I choose but by choosing to freecycle it I am choosing NOT to make money on it, but to provide it too someone in need of it. As I receive things gratefully from the site too at no cost. I just think it's not fair to benefit from peoples generosity and kindness.

I'm really sorry that this has kind of hijacked the op's thread, also I was thinking do you have any skills that you could maybe make money from, maybe tutoring or something, which you can do from home?!

  • Whislt I wholeheartedly agree with the concept of not selling items received through others generosity via Freecycle I thought I'd make a suggestion for earning some money.

This is not regular, but could be interesting. The local Councils employ individuals at election time to do the "counts" (various shifts) and man polling stations. Just ring and register and when the time comes they'll send you a form.

  • Matched betting really is the best way to make free easy money. It does take a while to get your head a round it BUT definately worth it in the long run. If you can start with 1-200 quid you can easily make a few hundred a month. Some are making a lot more then that but obviously they have more time and patience then some of us :) You can actually start with as little as 20 quid if you think it is a big risk, the reason I say 100-200 is that you can take advantage of 2-3 offers very quickly and obviously you will make more money the more you do it. Try having a look at the newbie thread on the gambling board on here. Also worth remembering that if it really was dodgy or non money saving Martin wouldn't allow it on his boards so if it is good enough for him then it must be ok for us ;) and they guys on there are so friendly they will help you through eery step of the way until you are perfectly comfortable with it.
