Should I make a fresh claim?

I applied for PPI rebate in Jun 2009. I applied on the basis that I had been 17 still when I applied (the date on the application form is a few days before my 18th bday!) and I was also a F/T student and therefore clearly did not require PPI as was not working enough hours.
Claim was rejected. I didn't pursue with Ombudsman as had my son in July 09 and moved house.
Now I'm thinking I should open up a fresh claim- it was really unfair of bank to get me to sign up for PPI (the other issue is that it was a tick box and I don't even remember ticking it!!!)- but how should I go about this?
Thank you.

You have 6 months to appeal the decision. If you do not do that within that timescale, they can bar you from future complaint. So, technically, you are out of time. However, some banks are weak on their record keeping. So, may not spot its a repeat complaint.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
