Cheap toilet roll!
Running low on loo paper so just checked out budget ranges on my supermarket. This has certainly gone down in price since I last bought. Sainsbury's basics showing as just 10.9p a roll for 200 sheets (1.29) for 12 tesco value 13.? and asda even dearer. Think I need to stock up at Sainsbury's.

The sainsburys value range is a load of **ap, sorry about the pun. Its very thin. I like the Nicky range if you want a cheap toilet roll the 3 layers one is cheap at HB0

Have to agree HB do some fab cheap toilet rolls. I recently bought, Plush 12 pack, think they were about £2.79ish for the pack and has 3 layers with a quilted, embossed pattern on it. I am convinced that my kids use it for the toilet and must also eat it the amount we seem to get through. :rotfl:
Basics ranges too thin and you have to use more of it and the rolls are smaller.

Farm Foods also sell Nicky if you haven't got a Home Bargains near you,
2 x 9 packs for £4 - just over 22p per roll for decent stuff.

Another vote for Nicky. Andrex is over-rated imho. It used to be good years ago but tbh I think it is comparatively thin.If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused0

Hi,
you've got to be careful with cheap toilet paper, you don't want the 'single square breakthrough', and if it does happen, don't lick your fingers.0 -

That's why I always double up when I use the cheap stuff at work0 -
I only ever buy the 18-pack from Home Bargains, think it's called Comfy Soft or something tacky like that, £3.59 for 18 rolls. As has been said, my kids seem to eat it, the rate we go through it!!
Used to only be £2.99 until less than a year ago but still not a bad price, under 20p a roll
