Euro Disney weekend

Hi all, I have bought a couple of Euro Disney day tickets to be used any time and was wondering the best place to stay and cheapest travel options.
It will be me, my partner and our young son (He is not even one yet but the oh was desperate to go!).
Have looked on the Eurostar site and it seems very expensive. Only looking to stay a couple of nights really.
Im sure someone helpful will be able to point me in the right direction. Thanks

be careful if you book flights, we booked in 2009 and i was quoted approx £270 for 3 of us, when i checked my account it seemed to be double that but when i rung to said it's pending twice they said dont worry it will only come out once then i totally forgot, a few months back i checked back on my statement for some reason to find that it was taken out twice meaning for 2 seats (son was on our lap) to charles de gaulle from bristol it cost almost £600 and the plane was like something out of madagascar. personally if i was going again i would go by ferry much cheaper, suppose it depends where you live though.0

oh and we stayed in the newport bay hotel, fab hotel and not a very long walk to park and seems reasonable on prices compared to some.0

Who did you book flights with and what airline?
OP, you should take a look at the Kyriad and the Explorers hotel, they are usually a lot cheaper than the Disney hotels and have constant free buses running to and from DLP. Check Travel Republic and Alpharooms for prices, they often come out the cheapest.
Room prices are always a lot more expensive on Friday and Saturday nights so you would be far better going in midweek. The parks are likely to be quieter then as well.
It can be really expensive but with a bit of planning you can get a good deal. We are going in April and in total it's cost us (2 adults) around £350 in total for flights, 3 nights at the Kyriad, bus transfers and 2 day park hopper tickets.0 -
There is a long running and very informative thread all about Disneyland Paris here which may help you with planning.
Also just wanted to add that if you have Sky, they are currently giving away two free adult tickets to every customer - I know you already have tickets but might as well have an extra day for free if you can! See http://www.sky.com/mysky/indexb.html - bottom left of the page, you will need to log in to see details of the offer. You have to pick a specific date so will need to wait until you have everything else for your trip sorted first.
To give you some idea of costs, for two adults we have paid £150-ish total for flights with Easyjet (LPL to CDG including 1 checked bag) and £49 per night including breakfast for the Santa Fe (one of the cheaper Disney hotels) booked via Expedia. We are going the last week in March but costs can vary massively by season so you might need to do a bit of research to decide on the best time to visit.0 -

flights were with airfrance, if i had known they were going to be almost £600 though i certainly wouldnt of booked with them, it was my first time flying to and to be honest its put me off flying for the rest of my life lol, part of the seat came off in my partners hand and i'm only just over 5foot and my knees were touching the seat infront of me.
the whole experience was like something out of a movie, i said as we were driving into the airport "watch us have that plane by there" (messing around) turns out that was the plane we had, it was crazy.0
