New SATNAV time ...
So I'm now looking to change my Satnav. My old Navman s50 is playing up so time to change.
I've been onto the which website and seen that the TomTom via Love 120 is top of the ratings charts. Any thoughts people out there?
I was also thinking of using my navigation on my mobile handset (Samsung Galaxy s2) but I require a porting device. When abroad does the using of the handset using up any part of the monthly plan usuage allowance?
Your input & suggestions please peeps? x

The phone will need to to download maps somehow though. So if you disable 3G you'll need to use wifi (at hotel, cafe etc.) before you set off. If it does use data on 3G then depending on where you are it could cost quite a bit. You can cache up to 10 map "squares" but as to the size of these I don't know.
Google maps up to date! Well the A3 Hindhead Tunnel (that opened in July last year) still isn't shown on Google Maps......0 -
