we are having a shower built in our bed room in an alcove. the electrician has informed us that as there will not be the right distance from the shower to the plug socket the law states. we need a fixed head shower. can anyone reccomend where to get this online or a shop also is it possible to get a run of the mill electric shower to adapt to fixed head, many thanks for any advice.

The shower would not be in its own room but in the bedroom? I'd be very concerned about the amount of humidity being produced in a room which typically contains soft furnishings and electrical items.0

we asked this, there is an extractor fan being fitted, and it is also very close to the window which will be opened when it is in use, and were told for the amount of time it is in use that is enough ventalation. you have me worried now, there is only 2 of us that will use it.0
