Just got a text saying from the co op saying if i respond with the word "balance" it will link into my account.
i shall ring them to v erify this b ut im assuming its a hoak.

I'd called them the previous day to check on something and they asked me then if I'd be interested in the new text service, which I was.

I have this set up and the co-op do offer this service and it up dates much quicker then the online balance.
Same number here and been using it for several months now with no problems at all.
If it were some random number then just texting balance to it wouldn't do anything would it as they would not have your bank details .There is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;
So they break the hearts of kith and kin, and roam the world at will.

I signed up with the Co-op last week, and this is the text I got from them:
"Your mobile number has been registered for text balance. To receive the balance for your nominated accounts please send the word "balance" to 82667".
If that's what you've received, it's genuine.There is a light at the end of the tunnel.....I just need to find the switch.0 -
they haven't got my mobile number.................... No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0 -

After reading this I gave the Co Op a call and it is genuine and I've signed up for it. Very Helpful, Very Pleased0
