I do it all the time. I think there is some level of risk due to things sometimes being re-heated but I always take home the extra sauce in an indian and then use it at a later date and have never had any problems.Since starting again after beanie: June 2016: Child development DVDs, Massive Attack tickets. Dont re-use rice, cant remember why but there is some toxins appear in it on reuse.
The curried bit will be fine as long as it it heated thoroughlymake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

The Danger from frozen food is in two parts:
Time to Frozen, Professional kitchens and food makers freeze from hot, hot food freezes 3 to 4 times as quickly as cold food.
So the time to freezer is critical.
Then re-heat, the food needs to be raised to a temperature to kill any bacteria.
However if bacteria is allowed to breed in the food it secretes a toxin that can not be killed by re-heating, this generally gives you the 24 hr bad stomach .
Bacterial food poising from live bacteria makes you ill for weeks
Bacteria will form around 6 hours on most meat products at room temperature and by 14-18 hours at room temperature the meat protein is infected.

Thanks all. It was only cooked at about 2pm this afternoon and been kept in the fridge since just after 4pm. All in the freezer now, bar the rice - the lucky dogs got the leftovers of that.0

It all depends who is eating it. I have a "cast iron" stomach and regularly leave cooked food sat on the stove top for 24hrs+ with no problem before reheating it to eat. Same with take-aways, they're often left out over night (rice included) before any leftovers are refrigerated/frozen and eaten at a later date.
