Tommee Tippee bottles numbers coming off

Anyone else using Tommee Tippee bottles with the black numbers on? Our baby is 7 and half months old and only really went on to the bottle at Christmas before then she only had a bottle when my wife was out from about 4 months. The oldest bottle have been in use for probably only 4 months and the numbers are nearly completely off them.
With our eldest the numbers were raise up which whilst awkward to read they couldn't wear off the bottles. We use a cold water sterilizer but surely the bottles should be made to stand sterilization.

Nothing to see here, move along.

i used a steam steriliser with both my kids and different kind of bottles (tommy tippee mothercare and avent) and the only ones that didnt have the numbers come off of were the avent ones. that might be because i was only really using the bottle to mix up the milk before transferring to a cup as he was bf and only if i was out my mum would feed him then after 6 months he was using a cup.
i think its a way to keep up demand personally. planned obselecence as my tech teacher once told me. things designed to break/fail after a certain length of time to keep up sales and demand0 -
Happened to ours too. Tommy Tippee bottles are utter rubbish as far as I am concerned, I feel quite sure that the only reason they are the brand leader is that when desperate parents go into the supermarket in the middle of the night to buy their first pack of formula, the only bottles there are the Tommy Tippee ones....:mad:0

It's utter rubbish really we have found a way round it by using the Fl/oz setting on the scales and weighing the water on the ones with out numbers and I'm going to paint over the good ones with some clear varnish. I was thinking of complaining but obviously haven't got the receipt.Nothing to see here, move along.0

Is it the closer to nature ones?

I would email Tommee Tippee about it. Im sure they'd sort you out with some new ones. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

My baby is too old for bottles now, but this did happen when we were using them, and it also happens with my DD's oral syringes for measuring her medication out in. I have always put it down to the way I wash them (which is in very hot water, or in the dishwasher) but it could also be the steam steriliser. If I catch them when they are fading, I sometimes remark the correct level with a sharpie pen, which lasts for a while, otherwise I just replace them when needed.0

Is this still happening? Happened with my daughter (who is now nearly 7). I complained to Tommee Tippee and they sent me out 12 new bottles.0

It happened with my tommee tippe one and to be fair my dr brown bottles also started to wear off. I used a sharp knife to mark the measure before they wore off completely but if you can get new ones then try emailingI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife
