Thanks for all the help guys, the MOT and Tax expires at the end of March I think for the old car so we have a few weeks to have a look around before deciding what to get without having to re-tax and MOT this one.
  • Cottage cars in Dyce are very good, although they specialise in the more prestige side. After sales service was good too.

Evans halshaw Renault on the Lang stracht are awfull. I viewed a car, 3 years old. I asked what sort of service history it had. The salesman pulled the service book out and said "it has never been serviced". When i asked if he would knock some money of in that case and he said "we never negotiate on prices". I feel sorry for whoever bought that car. It was only 3 years old and the engine felt dead on the test drive :(

Thats quite a few people saying to stay away from Evans Halshaw so looks like I'll be giving them a miss.

Cars are certainly cheaper in say Glasgow. However is it worth the hassle? The more expensive the car, the more you might save. On a 3 year old Corsa, I doubt you would save much.
