haven paid for sports activities availabilty?

how easy is it to get a paid for sports activity place during the school hols?
i know they do the pre pay activity passes & apparently this is meant to give you priority booking on arrival subject to availablity (so i could pay and still not get to do them)but didnt really want to pay £30 each when tbh theres only 1/2 activites we'd probably do like water walkers.

this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk

we do aqua jets and have never had a problem booking them when we arrive on site - and we always want to book two kids in the same session - we have never been in Peak Season ie july, aug, but have had no problem last weekend of school hols in aug/sept, or october half term...
