Slow site Today

Has anyone else found the site painfully slow today or is it my pc ? I am on about 4meg but it was worst than dialup..I went over to Firefox which speeded things but not that much.

Yes, I had problems accessing the site from work this afternoon about 4pm to 7pm. It seemed a lot slower at loading the pages than normal and that was on a T1 connection, most frustrating at times. Currently answering your query from home and everything is as normal.

But then again just had a message flash up "There seems to be a problem with the MSE database", when I tried to post this reply. So maybe there are still some problems on the site, also had this earlier in the day.

My money saving tip: spending the hour a day you spend wating for pages on this site to load doing some overtime instead could leave you over £100 a month better off!

Judging by the figures we are only 600 odd off breaking the site record today :j

Email went out last night and Martin has been on every television programme and it seems every paper the last couple of days and come Friday its only going to get worse as he is on Jeremy Vine and Trevor McDonald

So yes the site is a bit slow today!

I'm continually getting 'page not found', so yes it looks like we're overloaded again.

I'm finding it incredibly slow too and keeps crashing. I'm sure it will be resolved soon.

im having a lot of problems tonight.. pages not loading (the ones that do take their sweet time about it), and formating problems - especially with smilies.
