Some Microwave ovens have a bulb cavity accessible from inside the oven?
Others have a hatch on the outside.
Our Sharp combi microwave oven had neither so I removed all the screws holding the one piece top and side cover and accessed the bulb that way.
Bear in mind that you may need a specialist bulb to match the bulb fitted and that may or may not be soldered in place.
In theory it is safe to do it yourself provided you ensure that you replace the cover carefully and accurately.
I am not qualified to give safety advice so please don't blame me if you later die of microwave radiation. :eek:0
