AA Spend And Earn Issue!

Hi, I am wondering if anyone has experienced the same problems as me.
I have requested for the AA to dispute a couple of transactions on my spend and earn card, It seems they actually call the retailer up and dicuss this, Surely this is breaking data protection for retailors or companies to actually discuss any issues and personal details with AA and for AA to give my personal information.
I have never ever experienced this with banks or any other prepaid card company. I would like some advice on this.

If there's a dispute, how are the card company meant to resolve it if they can't share certain information?
Sections 14,15 and 17 may give you more information.

What kind of personal information did AA give to the retailer that you are unhappy about?0

This has to be a wind up.
How does OP know what has been divulged or not?0 -
I fail to see how a dispute can be resolved without hearing the retailer's side of the story.
On a separate issue I have just noticed that I have not been credited with points for two transactions on my card with different retailers on 13th & 14th January 2012. The amounts involved are trivial but this is the second time this has happened. Last April I was not credited with points for four transactions with 3 retailers over two days until I complained repeatedly. This does not inspire confidence in the system.0
