Hi,
not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes...
I just saw a missed call on my mobile phone with the following number:
05602636599
This doesn't look like a UK number to me... I tried looking it up on google and the icstis website but couldn't find any info about it.
I'm afraid to call it in case its a premium rate number.
I was wondering whether anyone could shed any light to this?
Thanks.
Ps. I'm on o2 UK

056 numbers are a new voice service.
According to BT prices they are about 5p a minute in the daytime, 2p in the evenings and 1.18p at weekends.

My suggested program for Orchid LCRs was updated last week to route calls to all 05 numbers via BT so that the cost is known.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

I also received a missed call on my phone from 05602 144 478.
I am on Vodophone Pay-as-you-go and when I tried to call back, the automated lady told me that I didn't have enough credit.
(Which was probably lucky!!
I tried to text but the text (unusually) failed to send.
I then tried to text from another Vodophone phone. Same result, "Text failed to send".
I don't know what this number is. My suspicion is that it is going to be expensive to call.
If it's somebody trying to call me, they can call me back.0 -
These are BT broadband talk numbers. They are VOIP numbers, and when dialed from a landline will be either engaged or won't connect due to the broadband user being online. Hope that clarifies things.0
