Floating Storage

Hi
I want to install "floating" shelves and cabinets for media storage in the sitting room. I'm not permitted to post a picture as a new user, but I'm trying to create something like BoConcept's Volani or MDF Italia's ElevenFive system.
I do not have the budget for the likes of Porada or BoConcept. I tried a local kitchen showroom, since there many wall mounted kitchen cabinets, but they weren't too helpful.
I wonder if anyone here can point me in the right direction?
Many thanks

Have you tried Ikea - their Besta range might do - http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/S99895038/
Ikea search for 'media storage' brought up a few options too?0 -
Thanks for the suggestions.
I couldn't work out, from B&Q's website, what sort of fittings can be used in their "it" kitchen units.
I've spent a few minutes looking at what forum users think of B&Q and Ikea quality. Generally, people think that both firms are OK when it comes to basic cabinetry."That which does not kill you will hurt like hell", Friedrich Nietzche.0
