Has anyone successfully claimed so called payment break back from Monumont credit card who have now been taken over by Barclaycard.
If anyone has been successfull can you let me know how you went about this, and if you claimed interset.

You might get a 'payment break' with a mortgage but not with a Credit Card.0

If you're looking for a really short term break, 2-3 weeks, asking for shifting the statement date by that time might do the trick. That is, if you'd be happy with the changed the payment date!Enjoy the silence...0

Also, for what it's worth, Barclaycard sold the Monument brand and its cardholders to Raphaels Bank many years ago, who subsequently closed everyone's accounts IIRC...0
