Electric shower not getting hot

No fishy smells but there is a heat difference between cold, 1 & 2 settings. So it is heating but only by a few degrees.
Just tried replacing the isolating switch as that looked a bit old and grubby anyway, but still no change.
Well - as you've noticed a difference between the three settings that kinda rules out the theory of possible blown elements within the shower - hardly suprising considering it's a new shower unit!!
Have a few baths over the cold snap and then try again when things warm up - you'd be suprised how much difference a few degrees can make - especially on a wimpy 8.5kw
My money is now on 'nowt wrong - just colder water supply' - hope I'm wrong tho 'cos you could have saved yourself a few quid :eek:
