Hi all,
I have had many loans over the years and recently came across the PPI claimback on this site, i have read it and started persuing with Halifax, Norhern Rock, Black horse and Bank of Scotland.
I have sent off the first letters, and had replies back about all my accounts appart from one company - Northern Rock, the loans i had with then have been paid off but i know i had PPI on them.
I sent the first letter in Martins article asking for details of the agreements that was on 10/01/12, they have never replied.
Where do i proceed from here with Northern Rock.
The rest i will be sending the second letter in martin article about ppi reclaim but i am stuck on what to do with Northern Rock.
Anyone give me good advice ?

Why do you believe you are entitled to your money back?0

Because i genuinely believe i was mis-sold my insurance, i was not informed at the time that insurance cover was included and if i had known wouldnt have accepted it as i have and alway have had a seperate income protection policy out.0

Contact NR and see if they can find your account(s),did you request the £1 for copy of agreement or the £10 SAR?.The rest i will be sending the second letter in martin article about ppi reclaim but i am stuck on what to do with Northern Rock.
If a loan is closed they do not have to give you this info with the £1 request, a SAR may be better.
Income protection and life insurance (if you have any),are reasons for mis sell as you may not have taken this ppi with that cover already in place.

The first part is a verbal allegation and near impossible to prove. You also have to consider it is statistically unlikely to have happened with each and every case.
However, significant overlap with sickpay is a good complaint reason.
You dont need any agreements to put a complaint in. You just make the complaint giving your reasons.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
