They must restrict this account in someway surely, as it sounds just like a current account but is actually a savings account. I don't suppose DD etc can be set up with it though.
Can you use this card in shops or just ATMs?
Tranfering out my bills money would be so much easier than working out my spend money to transfer.

well I've applied for one so now I have 1 basic account + 3 savings account with Natwest (2 esavings), 1 Nationwide cash card account and 1 metro basic account + saving account lol
Metro currently set up to recieve my part-time job wage, could be used as a 2nd spending account then at the end of each month transfer to the savings account anything left in it.0 -
Why not open another account with Nationwide. Use one for wages/bills etc transfer the remaining amount after bills to second account and use that account for day to day banking.
This is what i do and works well.0 -
