what title for a male bridesmaid?

my fiancee is having a male chief bridesmaid. she would like to keep calling him as such but mother in law and i both think something like bridesman is probably more suitable?

I quite like man of honour - if 'best woman' is OK for a woman in the best man role then 'man of honour' seems to equate with that.

Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")

Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")
