MPVs
I am currently looking for a replacement for my Ford Galaxy, which is just too expensive for me to run. It costs me £1000+ in new tyres each year and does a gas-guzzling 35 mpg.
I am considering a Peugeot 5008, or a Citroen C4 Picasso (not sure about the regular or Grand version). Does anybody own either of these, and do you have comments on their economy?
And are there any economy benefits of manual vs automatic?

35mpg is hardly gas guzzling.
My sister has Galaxy that barely does over 20mpg. Just buy a smaller car... a manual.0 -
Yes, that is exactly what I am suggesting. The two cars I mention both apparently do 45+ mpg.0

well manuals are allways more fuel efficient, does the 45+ mpg come from official figures ? what engine is it every car has choice of engines also how many miles a year do you do ? cant say i have ever had to change tyres ever 12 months even doing 16k a year0
